The latest Wikileaks reports have revealed an extremely dangerous trend in U.S. foreign policy: the State Department is relying solely on Pakistan military and the infamous inter-Services intelligence when it comes to U.S. foreign policy pertaining to Balochistan, in stead of involving the genuine leadership of Balochistan, notably Hyrbyair Marri, Brahumdagh Bugti and Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch.

Pakistan is also continuing with its omnibus human rights violations in Balochistan. On December 1, 2010 Pakistan military raided the home of Mekran notable Ayub Jan Gichki and killed five people, including his two young sons.

On October 26, 2010 the Amnesty International reported that Pakistan has extra judicially killed as many as 40 people in less than four months and had expressed its concern over the kill and dump policy adopted by Islamabad:

The Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearances also condemned Pakistan's kill and dump in Balochistan:

To review the situation in the backdrop of the latest WikiLeaks revelations, we are holding a  conference in Washington DC.

Texas-sized Balochistan is extremely "sexy" in geo-strategic terms as it forms the northern lip of the Straits of Hormuz. Balochistan is an island of secularism in a sea of religious extremism but the step-motherly treatment being meted out to it by the State Department does not augur well for the long-term interests of the U.S. in the region.

I shall really appreciate if you may please confirm you received this invite.

Await response.

Sincerely,
