Commemoration of Baloch martyrs and Heroes
Prima facie, if each Baloch’s Hero or martyr is to be celebrated, then no day will be remained without commemorating of a Baloch per annum, who has been killed by Iran and Pakistan states. Nowadays the numbers of extra judicial killings and target killings are being enormously increased. Rather Pythagorean numbers theorem. However, the Baloch will observe Memorial Day annually on 15th day of July regularly to honor the heroes and martyrs who have sacrificed for a prime noble national cause. By virtue of which we are known as a Nation today in the World. On 11 October 1958, General Ayub Khan committed act of aggression upon Kalat, arrested Khan Ahmad Yar Khan, put him behind the bar and plundered and occupied his house.
Consequently the second resistance started, it would not be out of place to mention here that, no sooner did the Pakistan invaded up on Balochistan on 27th March 1948 since there is a perpetual and continual resistance moment against Pakistan for illegal and immoral occupation of Balochistan. The commander of second resistance was Nawab Norooz Khan Zarakzai who took arms with his comrades and went on mountains of Jehlawan at Eastern Balochistan, gave tough time to Pakistan Army, resistance was its bloom. Then army was nervous! On account of which a delegation was sent to Norooz Khan and his comrades. On the name of holy Quran he pledged that if Norooz Khan gets down from mountain and to initiate negotiation, his demands will be met. Regrettably, they got down from mountains. Were arrested, leveled charges of treason. They were shifted to central jail at Hyderabad, Sindh, the kangaroo court of Ayub Khan convicted and sentenced Mir Jalal Khan Zarakzai, Mir Bahind Khan, Mir Umar and Mir Dil Murad, for imprisonment of life, while Mir wali Mohammad Zarakzai, Mir Ghulam Rasool Nachari, Mir Sabzal Khan Zahrai, Mir Masti Khan, Mir Bawal Khan, Mir Jamal Khan and Mir Bahty Khan Zarakzai were sentence to death and were executed. Due to the old age of Nawab Norooz Khan he was sentenced for imprisonment to life. Neither Pakistan army honored the holy Quran, by virtue of which the Baloch warriors got down from the mountains nor complied with its pledge.
This is an irremovable stigma to Pakistan forever. Baloch never forget it!!! The heroes sacrificed for noble cause, who has watered the Baloch libration moment by their precious blood and today nationalism has been strengthen. But the Baloch Nation has not got a Nation-State yet. It means the struggle of Baloch is for a Nation-State, in short Nationalism is a phenomenon of the ‘state of mind, in commemoration of those heroes, we can mobilize and inspire the Baloch people and to Unite them under a flag, in pursuit of common political consciousness, which furnish cohesive principle and sentiment of ‘’oneness,, the feeling and sentiment cherish the supreme loyalty of a Nation-state, which is missing to the Baloch.
There are a few friends, who ironically calls the Baloch corpse worship, paradoxically the fact is that it’s a stilted established universal principle that the heroes of those Nations who had sacrificed their lives for motherland. They also make commemorating for their heroes.
We have to follow the track feet of our heroes and martyrs. We should be mentally and physically prepared by such a strong bond of unity and oneness, fighting for the cause of emancipation from alien yoke, it’s to this that the struggle of a subject nation for overthrowing foreign rulers!!! The struggle of Baloch is also to restore their native land (Nation-State) which has been deprived forcibly and occupied by foreigners namely Iran and Pakistan. In this direction, by virtue of making in commemorating of our heroes and martyrs we can easily educate and inspire our people and political cadres by a common political consciousness, aspire for liberty and independent of a Nation-State as well as we tribute them, because they deserve it.
Let us come to take promise that the torches of independence fueled by the holly blood of our heroes and martyrs do not be extinguished and the Baloch never disappoint their souls and sacrifices!!!
