Subject: Pakistani security forces raid Amir Khan Marri’s house, arresting ten innocent persons
Dear Sir/Madam,
Rauf Marri was interviewed and has provided his account of the events to International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons.
On March 1st 2012, Rauf Marri, the 17 year old disabled son of Amir Khan Marri,  stood as an eye witness and retold his entire family’s story to Balochi Radio Gwank that is based in Sweden.
Rauf Marri stated that the Pakistani security forces knocked their main door loudly at pitch dark at 1 am. His father went to open the door and their house was raided while the family was still a sleep.
During the three hour raid Pakistani security forces assaulted our women and children, states Rauf. They blindfolded and their family questioned the forces of what is their quilt. “We are all hard working labourers, we do not belong to any organization” stated Rauf but they did not listen to us.
Rauf Marri states that during the raid, upon finding out his disability, the security forces pushed him away and said, “we don’t need you”. He said that security forces assaulted his  grandfather Amir Khan Marri, a 70 year old man,  his feet and hands were then tied up by security forces and his grandfather was thrown inside their vehicle.
The following is the list of names of the arrested men and children:
Amir Khan Marri ( Age 70), Mir Jan Marri (Age 36), Mazar Khan Marri (Age 18), Balakh Sher Marri ( Age 15), Mohammad Sher Marri ( Age 15), Lal Mohd Marri ( Age 6), Mohd Jan Marri ( Age 9), Mohd Haneef Marri (Age 8),  Javed Marri ( Age 10)
Mr. Rauf Marri stated that we appeal to the Chief Minister and Governor of Balochistan to release his family members. He explained, “We would like to appeal to the United Nations and International Human Rights organizations to help us to release our innocent family members including three children. We have done nothing wrong, why such injustices have been happening against us by Pakistani security forces”.
Sincerely,
Aziz Baloch
