Tariq Taheer Abducted

Taheer s/o Mulla Mossa, a poet of Balochi language and a social worker
from
Tanzag has been abducted by Pakistani security forces last night near
Gwader at Zero
Point while traveling from Karachi to turbat Tanzag. He has been Karachi
for his
stomach ulcer treatment. It is noteworthy to mention here that almost
all Baloch
from all over Balochistan mostly travel to Karachi for treatment as in
Balochistan
there is no specialist hospital for the treatment of life threatening
diseases. A
large number of Baloch people have been abducted by pakistani forces on
this karachi
to Gwader road.
He was born in 1976 at Tanzang. He has had his intermediate in Turbat
College as a
bright student. During his college time he was a good footballer. He is
a government servant in custom department. He is the cousin of famous
research scholar of classical Balochi poetry, Fakeer Shaad. When He was
contacted by International Voice for Baloch Missing persons and asked
about Tariq Taheer’s social activities,
he said that his cousin was a government servant and a social worker as
well. He said that His family members were extremely worried about his
well being, as the majority of people who have been abducted by security
forces have never returned back
home.
