Lyari, A town of Karachi which is as old as the Baloch population inside it, In the old days Lyari was the place where every governmental institution was established and it was the main town of Karachi other than that it was densely populated by Baloch people. In the year of East India Company Lyari was chosen to be the path to connect Balochistan with the rest of India [Today’s Pakistan]. As in the maps Lyari is known to be part of Balochistan because it has links with hub town of Balochistan and its name resembles the name of Lyari which is inside Balochistan before Ormara. After Balochistan was occupied by Pakistan and was merged forcefully Lyari became to be known as another town of Kulachi [The old name of Karachi] and after the merging was done the name of Kulachi was changed to today’s Karachi and Lyari was jointed to be part of Karachi, Sindh. Karachi and the town of Lyari were the parts of Balochistan but when Balochistan government was dismissed Pakistan with his divide and rule policy [Adopted from their master’s British] started campaign and merged several parts of Balochistan inside Pakistan as their own. Dera Ghazi Khan, Dera Ismail Khan were merged inside N.W.F.P and Punjab, Karachi was merged with Sindh although these cities were never meant to be the part of Hindustan when Pakistan was not separated they were the part of Balochistan but they were forcefully merged with Punjab and Sindh. After the merging the Baloch population started to become in minority because of the population of Indian Muslim started to flow inside Karachi and Lyari, The population of Karachi was 30 to 40 thousand in the time of British rule but as Pakistan was created the population of Karachi grew to the extent of 20 million inside which the Baloch and Sindhi population is around 2 to 3 million and the rest of the population are outsiders or settlers whom settled here after India was parted.

Lyari at the time of British rule was governed and ruled by the than Baloch people but as the time passed away and Baloch population became in minority Lyari was totally controlled by outsiders. The land mafia of today which is a wing of Terrorist organization MQM started many overthrows inside Lyari and other parts of Karachi to snatch the old land which were leased to Baloch or Sindhi population. Gutter Bagicha the 200 years old park which is the property of Baloch people is under siege by the land mafia of MQM because MQM in today’s political situation is the biggest party inside Karachi not because of its vote bank but of its terror. Gutter Bagicha estimated to be 1200 acres of land is part of Trans Lyari and it is also connected to Old Golimar which is also an old town of Karachi both town are populated by Baloch people and the Gutter Bagicha is legally leased to the Baloch population of Trans Lyari and Old Golimar, But the land mafia of MQM illegally wanted to obtain the land of Gutter Bagicha for their means and for the party members. As MQM is part of the government and it has full control over Karachi Municipal Corporation it issued illegal allotted document of the land and started to construct housing projects without asking the real authorities which are the Baloch people of Trans Lyari at which the Baloch started their campaign and protested for the illegal occupation but as we all know Pakistan is known to be the home of Lawlessness, The peacefull protest and campaign was crushed with brute force the police and rangers of Sindh government fired live ammunition over the public in which many women and men were injured and many sustain serious wounds.

The land of Gutter Bagicha is the main issue between Baloch, MQM and PPP government & Baloch are the rightful owner of this land but are being suppressed because of no political background or support. The Baloch of Lyari always supported PPP deceased chairperson Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and they also open handedly supported Benazir Bhutto, Who in their speech always promised to make “Lyari the Paris of Karachi” but to no end Lyari never became Paris but it was transformed in to a battle ground inside which Baloch were left behind. Today the government is in the hands of PPP the Prime Minister, the Governor and even the President of Pakistan are from PPP but there is no hand to help the Baloch people of Lyari or to safeguard Gutter Bagicha from the clutches of MQM because PPP government make an agreement with MQM with which MQM will fully support PPP and PPP will support MQM even it is illegally doing anything. PPP is well known among the Baloch population of Lyari but the authorities of PPP led government are watching the grand operation and are the mastermind of the operation which is ongoing inside Lyari. The PPP led minister Nabeel Gabol who is also a lyarian today has left his own brothers on crossroads, his statement to the Baloch people was “To put the arms down or face the Operation” was a threat in which not only the Gangwar [As the Police of Lyari says] person are counted but the innocent Baloch population including children, elders and women.

The Gangwar of Lyari is actually not what it looks like. The main character of the gangwar were to be Rahman Dacoit & Arshad Papu but there are some other major players inside it and they include the Police, Rangers and the Agency of Pakistan namely ISI. Many minister used the name of gangwar for their political purposes even dear Nabeel gabol was seen with Rahman Dacoit many times but to shame that now when Rahman is no more Nabeel gabol is threating the civilian Baloch. Gangwar is an old time play in which Lyari was destroyed and the peace of Lyari was abolished, The main master mind of the gangwar were not the Baloch but were the settlers and the law controllers of Karachi who were the main reason this gangwar increased and with its increase the peace of Lyari broke and Many young Baloch lost their life, many faced wounds which were critical to heal, many lost their loved ones & even the biggest threat to Baloch population to live was the addiction of drug which was so common to find inside Lyari that kids were addicted to this life taking drug and the law controllers of Karachi and the agency of Pakistan were all behind this so that the people of Lyari would be so invalid that they wouldn’t voice for any crimes of human rights violation against them.

The gangwar is actually to be called Agency war which was with the Baloch people, gangwar was just used so Baloch would fight with his own Baloch brother and that is how Baloch will be perished ones and for all. For so many years the agency shook hands with the culprits of Lyari gangwar characters but as the winds changed and the peace was restored in Lyari this was not taken lightly by the agency and to destroy Lyari, Once again they started their plans and killed 4 Members of Rahman Gang including Rahman himself. Actually the thing is that Rahman whenever was arrested by the agency or the police he would be bailed out or would escape, Even the notorious Chaudhary Aslam would let Rahman go when ever he was arrested because Chaudhary Aslam was paid good. But when rahman became the central character to restore the Peace in Lyari and with Rahman another young Baloch namely Zahid Hussain Baloch were becoming famous in the hearts of Baloch people of Lyari the agency with their stooges killed Zahid Hussain Baloch on 1^{st November 2008, who was trying to mobilize Baloch in one platform and after the killing of Zahid Hussain Baloch, Rahman Baloch number was to follow he was killed along with his 3 friends on 9th August 2009. The news media reported Aslam chaudhary as saying that he encountered Rahman and the main reason was that he started firing over them first but the actually story which was taken from the account of the local Baloch population of Lyari is that Rahman with his 3 friends was taken from his home by Aslam Chaudhary to an unknown place where they were tortured first and then were shot point black. The idea behind this was to obtain Gutter bagicha along with Lyari because Rahman was not only an obstacle but a big wall between the people of Lyari and MQM, who was to be destroyed if MQM wants to put its hand over the Baloch land.}

Now once again Lyari Operation started even after the central characters of the gangwar are dead. Is this operation started to end the Gangwar or to end the Baloch population? Well this question is easy as you see it because if the upper statement shows that the gangwar is not actually about the main characters, On 9th August Rahman was kidnapped and killed now maybe Arshad papu will be charged with the same crime but it is not the gangwar which worries the Agency or MQM it is actually the Baloch who is becoming more and more aware about the issue as we see the Baloch of Balochistan today are under operation also, where the Baloch demand total independent from the occupation and Lyari plays a vital role inside Karachi if the people of Lyari became one and demand independency from Pakistan, joining and making the hands of freedom fighters of Balochistan stronger than the occupation of Balochistan would be highlighted in the international media which will show bad reputation of Pakistan but as awareness cannot be stopped through brute force the Baloch of Lyari today totally support the freedom movement of Balochistan. Rahman was maybe a dacoit once but today is predicted as a warrior in every Baloch heart of Lyari, Zahid Hussain Baloch actually dead but lives inside every Baloch it is not because of their hand in gangwar of Lyari but because of the making good deeds for the Baloch of Lyari. Today news and print media shows Baloch women and men of Lyari giving honour to Rahman and Zahid but abusing the PPP, Nabeel Gabol & Asif Ali Zardari this is awareness which will not be destroyed against any odds.

On one side the so called Rahman Gang [Who are actually the savior of Lyari] has picked up arms and on the other hands the so-called PPP, Police, Rangers, MQM terrorist and the Agency are standing to fight the Baloch to end this once and for all who will win? Is a question which cannot be answered in the mean time because the Rahman Gang [The Savior] are supported fully by the Local population of Lyari [Baloch or non-Baloch]. They have given their thumbs-up to the Savior and thumbs-down to the enemies. The savior with all their power have said they would stop any thing from entering the boundaries of Lyari and the enemy has vowed it would break the Human Rights Violation once it comes inside, As the police and rangers have already started to search and swap operation inside the others parts of Lyari where innocent young Baloch are being taken to unknown location they are destroying the honor of Baloch by directly entering the house of a civilian and abusing and drunk with wine are searching the house of a innocent Baloch. The situation inside Lyari is not going to be peaceful at all because the peacemaker are actually the destroyer and who were mentioned to be the peace destroyer are trying their best to restore the peace once again.
