Human Rights Watch: Save the lives of Mr. Abdul Baqi
Jamaldini s/o Mr. Sher Mhommad age 24 years & Master (teacher) Yahya
Jamaldini s/o Mr. Mhommad Karim age 40 years, lingering out their
lives in torture cells of Quetta Qilli Camp prison since11 August,
2008.
Balochistan Human Rights Watch ( BHRW) appeals to the
men of conscious, human rights Organizations all over the world, the
U.N. Human Rights Organizations and the so-called civil democratic
authorities of Pakistan and Balochistan to pay heed to the plight of
Mr. Abdul Baqi Jamaldini and Master Yahya Jamadini who are lingering
out their lives in the dreadful prison of "Quetta Qilli Camp".
"Both of them, named above , are kept in isolate
cells and are under intense torture", their brother & cousin Mr.
Abdul Wahid Jamaldini told the BHRW and reiterated that, " from
Quetta Hospital sources we came to know that both of them were
brought unconsciously in the hospital with chains in hands and feet.
After they were brought in consciousness, they were again driven to
the notorious jail, under tight police guard." It should be
remembered that Mr. Abdul Baqi Jamaldini was arrested during their
stay in "Quetta Agha Hotel" while he followed his cousin Mr. Hussain
Ahmed - a patient of Jaiundes - for an appointment with a doctor, on
11th August, 2008 while Master Yahya, a teacher with profession, was
arrested from Killi Jamaldinin, Noushki,Balochistan, on 11th August
2008.
BHRW strongly demands for appearance of Master Yahyha
and Mr. Abdul Baqi Jamaldini before court of law. As Pakistani
authorities has found no allegations against both of them, they
should be released unconditionally and be paid compensation for the
period of detention and other criminal abuses committed by Pakistani
security forces.
