The Disappearance of the Norwegian Baloch A part of the tragedy of the thousands missing Baloch

Last year on august 7, 2009 in Pakistani occupied Mand city of Balochistan, when Ahsaan Arjumandi embarked on the bus bound for Karachi did not know what was laying in ahead of him. When the bus reached at the Zero point just 15 km away from Uttal city, the secrets agents of Pakistani state took him off the bus and blind folded him like a criminal and whisked him away to an unknown place in front of all passengers. According to the eye witnesses, there were more than 20 pickup vehicles which surrounded the bus on which Arjumandi was boarding. The agents in plain clothes carry out their search of the bus in an extremely relaxed manner and the most important thing was that all those vehicles were without registration Number plat. The day he was abducted nothing had been said about him from Pakistani state. Up till now Pakistani state is still engaged in cheating the Norwegian government on false statement and assurances. According to the reports Ahsaan Arjumandi was an active human rights campaigner against Musharraf Regime, when the dictoter musharraf visited Norway , he was one of those who helped to set a protest against his atrocities against Baloch people. Such human rights campaign in any civilized society or country of the world isn't a taboo, however, it is a different thing in Pakistan and Iran, where all role and regulations are only set to protect the incumbent regimes, and then the deluge for civil society. For Baloch they have their own special laws, which are not published, used to commit genocide of Baloch nation. Under the same unpublished laws Arjumandi has been abducted and no one knows where he is now? In this regard, so far the statement that we have read from an in charge police officer of the area, before the court, is noteworthy to mention here in which the officer admits that "the Norwegian Baloch has been arrested by Pakistani secret agents and has been handed over to Iranian government on its request". Now what the Iranian and Pakistani states are behaving with Baloch nation? In this information age it is not a hidden fact that how they are distorting the thousands years old Baloch history by occupying its home land. Yes it is not denying that there are some "compulsions" which have blinded the eyes and deafened the ears of world community. If someone finds an injured animal in a jungle, he would take it to a veteran for treatment, and then he return it back to its natural habitat and leave it there. But Pakistani and Iranian states committing flagrant state sponsored terrorism by hanging Baloch in dozen, extra-judicially. They kill Baloch in masses, or abduct them in public without feeling any qualms, and dump them in remote areas from fly helicopters after torturing and killing them. In the name of Islam the occupying state's salaried Satans would acidify the innocent Baloch daughters, which defy the Ablees' Satanism. But the big powers are an able to notice it. We remember, when the Baloch resistance forces became fed up of the notorious silence of the international community, they held John Saluki as a Balochi Mehmaan against his well, a hue and cry erupted world around, from united state to NATO member states, even the salaried Pakistani politicians and its forces lost their sanity. The concern of the US and the NATO were justified by anyway, because they value their citizens. But Pakistani state and its armed forces' anxiety were based on the fact that this would block the charity it receiving, in the name of aid for the war against terrorism. Exactly, according to our belief, the Baloch armed resistance organizations allowed the John Saluki go home, after they registered their protest before the world community. Personally it was my strong belief that he would be released safe and sound. In the same evening, When, on April 4, 2009 I published my article in the DailyTawar under the headline of "John Seloki Baloch God Bless You", we heard the news, that The Baloch Sarmachars had released him on the request of Sardar Khair Baksh Marri. Our belief was based on the knowledge of the psychology of our nation and the thousands years old traditions and customs that we hold them very dear. But it was out of our understanding that the reaction of NATO and American were totally different from each other about the same incident. We are still astonished, why the Americans pressure on Pakistan was so immense for the release of his white man citizen, that Pakistani state bent on its knees and started licking the pro independent forces' heels. But on the disappearance of the Norwegian Baloch, they are totally silent, a trouble-free displeasure was expressed and then calm followed everywhere. Why the American cannot ask its dependent Pakistani rulers that under which human and international laws they have handed over a foreign national (which is a member state of NATO) to fanatic Iranian butchers; who, for the past five years, have hanged more than 721 Baloch, without any trial to defend themselves, or their bullets rattled bodies return back to their near ones after charging them the prices of each bullets, they spread on their bodies. We still don't know why the world community doesn't take notice of the illicit unison between Pakistan and Iran about Baloch issue? Why they ignore this fact that, this is where the rapid growth of Islamic fundamentalism and world terrorism is taking place? Pakistan is providing these terrorists technological assistant and Iran facilitating them with financial supports. Why the world cannot see that, the money, that Pakistan receiving from world community for building schools, hospitals, roads and providing clean water, are being used to finance the brutal military operations in Balochistan and, in the name of Madrassas, jihadist camps are being built for Talban. Why the world powers are not serious to look into the fact that, because of these two countries' hypocrisies, the entire universe has become a volcano, which could erupt anytime. The last word: As Baloch, it is not important for us, if Ahsaan Arjumandi was a political worker or not?, or Was he a participant of the freedom struggle or not, or has he been dreaming false hope for Baloch people's rights within Pakistani and Iranian state?! For us the important thing is that, why it has become a crime for us to be a Baloch, no matter whatever nationality we hold? Today there are more than 8 thousands missing Baloch, about which, last year during John Saluki release, United Nations had promised to run an enquiry about their whereabouts. let alone the enquiry, the leader who played the key role for facilitating the John Saluki release, was abducted and then killed along with his colleagues in front of public by Pakistani agencies , which is a strong slap in the face of the United Nations. Hence it is now crucial for Baloch nation to reconsider their policies about the fight for their survival, because either way you get the bullets, whether you want a glass of water or freedom. When the death is the destiny, then why one should not embrace the glory of martyrdom for the sacred cause of freedom? Over the length and breadth of Baloch home land, a war of national emancipation is continuing. The efforts of the 'Voice for Missing Persons, is an excellent job to let the world community know about the condition of the people who have been affected by the war, If it is more organized in and out of the county. There are more than three hundred thousand displaced people in Balochistan, the number of the missing persons goes beyond thousands, among them there is a NATO member state citizen, a Norwegian Baloch, Ahsaan Arjumandi, and the massacre of hundreds of Baloch people, including children and elderly men and women and youth. But the growing notorious silence of the world community shows that the extent with which we are screaming, is not enough to attract the attention of the world community towards our lamentation. And perhaps, we failed to convince the world that we Baloch want nothing except our homeland and the thousand years old identity of Baloch nation, and we might as well have failed to convince the world community that we are the only secular nation in the region, who have the capability to play the important role to contain the Islamic extremism, international terrorism and the world drug trafficking. But, If the international community failed to protect the legitimate interests of Baloch nation, then Baloch would never allow its homeland to be used for occupying Pakistani and Iranian interests.
